Patrol Division

The Orland Park Police Patrol Division is responsible for responding to emergency and non-emergency calls for service 24 hours a day.  The division enforces criminal and traffic offenses, as well as local ordinances violations.

The Patrol Division provides traffic control, investigates crashes, conducts preliminary investigations, and documents matters with written reports.  The Patrol Division is the most visible component of the police department.  Patrol Division officers and supervisors develop relationships with the public and engage the community while carrying out their daily duties.

The Patrol Division consists of three patrol teams and a Traffic Safety Unit.  The Patrol Division also staffs a seasonal Bicycle Patrol Unit, and deploys a full time Canine Unit.
