The Village of Orland Park will close its free summer concert series on Sunday, September 3 with three bands performing at Centennial Park West.

"The village has had a great summer of outdoor music at Centennial Park West, at Market at the Park and with our Crescent Park Concerts," said Trustee Pat Gira, chair of the village's Recreation and Parks Committee. "We invite everyone to enjoy one last show before summer ends."

The 90s, alternative rock band Louder Now will perform from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. No Alternative will perform music from the 70s and 80s from 3:30 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. And, Rod Tuffcurls and the Bench Press will perform pop and variety from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Attendees are invited to bring lawn chairs, blankets and picnics to enjoy this free afternoon of music.

"Centennial Park West is Orland Park's own Ravinia," Gira added. "It's great to see people bring their umbrellas, tables, chairs and picnics to enjoy some great music outside."

Four local vendors will have concessions available for purchase including Brass Tap, Burger 21, Rocco Vino's and Isn't That Sweet.

Located in the Colette Highlands Subdivision near 159th and 108th Avenue, Centennial Park West is at Park Station Boulevard and Jillian Road. The park has several rolling hills where attendees can set their blankets and chairs to enjoy the performance. Free parking is available at the adjacent train station on Jillian Road.

This free Village of Orland Park concert is co-sponsored by The University of Chicago Medicine; Loyola University Medical Center; the Orland Park Prairie Newspaper; Orland Funeral Home; Spaceco, Inc.; the Aileen S. Andrew Foundation and Medulla/Chiro One.
